Chris is first & foremost a Father, a Husband, a Son, and a Brother. Next, he’s a Marine Corps Veteran who discovered his passion for Leadership at USMC bootcamp over a decade ago. Described as “A Leader’s Leader”, Chris is known as a Leadership Enthusiast who is always looking to help others become better Professionals & better Leaders.
Chris has also found a passion in two other areas.

Chris has heard the phrase “Why You Talking White?” enough times in his life that he knows the feeling. The feeling of having to change the way he communicates to avoid stereotypes, not just from other racial/ethnic groups but also from his own. This is one of the many reasons why Chris is dedicated to creating awareness around Code Switching. He wants everyone to be able to authentically express themselves.
Chris is also all too familiar with the struggles that veterans, student veterans and military-connected families experience when we return to civilian life. Among many things, we experience a loss of familiarity and protocol. Unlike many programs that aim to help veterans… Chris focuses on training civilians on how to better understand & appreciate the military.
Fun Facts About Me
I sailed through the Panama Canal and across the entire Pacific Ocean.
When I took my DNA test, my results showed that my ancestors were from ALL over the globe. I'm talking Asia, Africa, Europe, Central America, etc etc. I'm mixed and proud. :)
I still love video games! Being a parent, a husband, and a professional speaker currently takes most of my time... but I still dream of a time when I get to sit down for a long gaming session.
I am a HUGE mixed martial arts fan! Most Saturday evenings you can find me watching a UFC event.
